Pivi Games (“the app”, “we”) is a collection of four classics — sudoku, minesweeper, battleship and ludo — playable solo and, in most of them, online against a friend. We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run the games, and we never sell your data. This policy explains what is used and why.
When you play on a single device, the app works fully offline. Your settings, chosen name and saved games are stored only on your device and are removed when you delete the app. Nothing about solo play is sent to us.
To synchronise a match between players, the following is sent in real time through a third-party cloud service (Supabase Realtime):
This data is used solely to run the match, is not tied to any account, and is not retained by the developer after the game ends. Please do not put personal information in your display name.
The app shows ads through Google AdMob. To serve ads, AdMob may access your device’s advertising identifier and related information. On iOS you are asked for tracking permission before any of this begins, and where consent is required a Google consent form is shown. Google’s handling of this data is described in the Google Ads / AdMob policy.
Becoming a Supporter (see below) removes ads in all four games entirely.
The optional “Buy the developer a coffee” purchase is processed entirely by the App Store or Google Play. The developer does not receive or store your payment details. Only a local flag recording your Supporter status is kept on your device (and restorable through your store account).
The app checks for over-the-air updates at launch through Expo Updates. That request carries only technical information needed to pick the right update (app version, platform and runtime) — no personal data and no identifier tied to you.
The app has no user accounts and does not use third-party analytics or tracking SDKs beyond the advertising described above.
The app is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because it contains third-party advertising, it is not offered in a “Made for Kids” category.
Local data lives on your device and is deleted when you uninstall the app. Real-time online data is transient and is not stored after a match. For any questions about your data, contact us below.
